Vijaya Bank has the highest number of branches in its home state, Karnataka. During the financial year 2004-2005 the bank has opened 41 Branches of which 40 are Specialized Commercial & Personalized Banking Branches., one SSI Branch. Three Extension Counters upgraded into full fledged Branch and three new Extension counters are opened. In line with the prevailing trends, the bank has been giving greater thrust towards technological upgradation of its operations. As on October 2005, all the 913 branches have been computerised, covering 97% of the bank's total business. Besides this, the bank has also installed ATMs at 109 of its branches out of which 107 are Networked. Realising your constantly evolving and diverse needs, the bank has diversified too. Entering several new areas such as credit card, merchant banking, hire purchase and leasing, and electronic remittance services. Vijaya Bank is one among the few banks in the country to take up principal membership of VISA International and MasterCard International.
