KEI is a company established in the year 1968 with prime business activity of manufacturing of Electrical Cables. For over a decade KEI was one of the largest suppliers of cables to department of Telecommunication,Government of India. In the beginning of 80's KEI was able to foresee emerging business opportunities for supply of it's products, in the field of Petrochemical, Refineries, Power Generation Projects, Electrical substation, Transmission Projects, Fertilizer Plants, and other Industrial Projects and upgraded it's product range to serve future demands.
This foresight enabled the company to establish its position as a front runner in the core sector projects. Today KEI is one of the preferred brands of leading business houses, including Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) one of the fortune 500 companies.
In the year 1992 KEI ventured into manufacturing of Stainless Steel Wires in New Delhi on a small-scale basis. As the product developed in stages and KEI gained confidence to manufacture the product for the international market, the company started exploring the business potential overseas. The assessment gave the impetus to venture into the project for manufacturing wider range of Stainless Steel Wires, with capacities to match the international demand. Deploying contemporary project management skill KEI commissioned its 3600 MTPA manufacturing unit in Bhiwadi ( 75 KM from New Delhi) in 1996.
Continuous product innovation and with regular upgradation of production process KEI has achieved brand name in the Domestic & International Market. Due to its overall price competency and quality to suit customer's requirement, today KEI serves reputed manufacturers in Europe and USA on bulk container basis.
