Sri Vishnu Cement limited is an associated company of Zuari Cement Limited, a Joint venture of zuari Industries Limited and ITAL CEMENTI Group, having 3.4 million tones per year installed capacity in Andhra Pradesh. The Zuari Industries is promoted by Mr. K.K.Birla, a known industrialist. The plant was installed with a capacity of 0.6 million tones per annum, has undergone many technological up-gradations since it was commissioned in November 1986 and today it has a capacity of 1.2 million tones per annum. The factory is located in Nalgonda Limestone Cluster of Andhra Pradesh where the superior quality of limestone is available in plenty. The company adopted the latest, most modern and advanced Dry Process Technology with Precalcinator with the technical know-how of M/s Onoda Engineering Co. Ltd, Japan and is operated by competent people having experience of 15 to 30 years in the field of Cement Industry. Electrostatic Precipitators and Bag Houses are installed in the plant for pollution control and the smooth operation of the plant is ensured by the modern Programmable Logic Controllers installed of different stages of operation. The plant is supported by a Diesel Generator set operated in parallel with AP Transco for uninterrupted running of the plant. 'VISHNU SHAKTHI' the premium brand 53 Grade Cement and 'VISHNU PREMIUM' 43 Grade Cement produced by Sri Vishnu Cement Limited. are well accepted by the market and is being used in all major projects taken up by the central and state Boards, Public Sector companies, builders and other institutions in public and private sectors. Number of employees under the scope of QMS is around 250 persons and the annual turn over of Sri Vishnu Cement Limited is around Rs.140 Crores.
