Shree Krishna Petro Yarns Ltd. (SKP) was incorporated in 1987, same year as group company Shree Krishna Polyester was incorporated. SKP was promoted by Shree Pravin Kumar Tayal, his family Krishna Polyester was incorporated. SKP was promoted by Shree Pravin Kumar Tayal, his family Krishna Polyester was incorporated. SKP was promoted by Shree Pravin Kumar Tayal, his family members and concerns in the Krishna group. SKP manufactures cotton yarn and knitted fabrics. The proposal for merger of SKP and Shree Krishna Polyester Ltd. with Krishna Textport Industries Ltd. was approved by the equity shareholders at the court convened meeting on December 15, 1998. However, the financial institutions desired that the exchange ratio be looked into on the basis of audited balance. In FY01, the company`s name was changed to Eskay`n`IT (India) Ltd. The company has ventured into introducing software products in the areas of E-commerce with logistic support, mobile communication & Wireless Application Protocol, Knitwear & Fashion Portals, Software for Internet applications & Web Enabling, Insurance & Banking and CAD/CAM. Future Plans:
The Company is making arrangements for installation of captive Furnace Oil-based generators so that power could be generated at a cost lower than the costs of electricity being supplied by the Electricity Board. By doing so, the Company would be able to reduce the overall power cost. R & D activities are being carried out by the Company continuously to produce better quality yarn and fabrics. As a result of R & D activities, the Company has been able to produce quality yarn and fabrics conforming to international standards. Efforts aimed at cost reduction, improvement in quality of products and development of new process will continue.
