BPL has decided to leverage its engineering capabilities owned over the last thirty years to supply components and capital goods to outside customers. BPL is a well-diversified group with excellent brand image in Entertainment Electronics, Home Appliances, Batteries, Telecommunication and Health care products. They need to have world class manufacturing facilities backed by innovative technologies. Initially this unit was named as 'Automation Division' (Now named as BPL Ltd., Engineering Plastics and Design Solutions) started as a wholly owned subsidiary of BPL Limited in the year 1993.
