Dagger-Forst Tools Limited was incorporated by Late Mr.Ashok Birla in the year 1965 as a Pioneer Broach Manufacturing Company, and is now one of the Companies in Yash Birla Group. The first plant was set up at Thane(40 km from Mumbai) with technical collaboration and equity participation by Oswald Forst GmbH..
The Company subsequently set up another broaching tool & gauge manufacturing plant at Aurangabad and acquired a plant to manufacture Gear Cutting Tools. The company manufactures a full range of custom made Gear Cutting Tools, Broaches & Spline Gauges, mainly used by the Automobile, Defence, Power & Aerospace sectors. The company today is the Complete Tooling Solution Provider for these sectors.
