Beginning 30 years ago when Chander K Baljee, a man with a passion for hospitality opened the doors of Royal Orchid Harsha, the Royal Orchid Hotels have pioneered a series of firsts in Bangalore. The group was the first to introduce 24 hour room service in the city, the first to offer cable television and channel music and the first to offer internet facilities to its guests. Over the years the group has expanded to include two more hotels in Bangalore- Royal Orchid Central and Hotel Royal Orchid and one hotel in Mysore- Royal Orchid Metropole. Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd was Launched in 1973, the Baljee Group(Now Royal Orchid Hotels) is one of Bangalore’s most recognized names in hospitality.
