GMR Industries Ltd was manufacturer and distribution of ferro alloys. GMR Group's manufacturing businesses export to key markets abroad, while having a positive impact and collaborating continuesly with the communities where they are located. An integrated Sugar complex, having a cane crushing capacity of 3125 tonnes per day. The factory is also an ISO 9001 certified sugar factory manufacturing white crystal sugar of 40% 'M' & 60% 'S' grade, with forward integration into Cogen with 16 Megawatt (MW) power and Distillery with 45 Kilo litres per day (KLPD) capacity. It is a centre of livelihood for over 25,000 farmers around the factory. Remarkable improvement in the living standards of the farming community have been noticed ever since its establishment in 1997. The Ferro Alloys unit is also an ISO 9001 certified unit manufacturing High Carbon Ferro Chrome with 2 furnaces of 6 Megavolt Ampere (MVA) and 9 MVA. The unit exports 75% of the output to Europe, Korea, Japan & China. International Trading Division mainly deals with import & export areas where it has its core strengths.
