Jindal Poly Films Limited has been in Polyester business since 1984. The company now manufactures Polyester (PET), Polypropylene (OPP) films and POY. It has a highly skilled and efficient work force coupled with access to World Class Technology through its French subsidiary Rexor S.A.S. JPFL is India's largest producer of PET film and is soon poised to become India's largest producer of BOPP films. JPFL entered the metallizing business in 2003 and will also have India's largest Metallizing capacity by August 2005. Polyester film commonly known as PET film is a versatile film, which has a vast range of applications.
Pet Films:
The film provides a strong barrier to moisture, odour and gases making it suitable for use in flexible packaging. It's high tensile strength, thermal and chemical stability makes it suitable for a multitude of applications in electric insulation, office supplies, graphic arts, magnetic media imaging, metallic yarn and industrial applications.
BOPP Films: Polypropylene film commonly known as BOPP is widely used for food packaging, textile bags, overwraps for cigarette and personal products, adhesive tapes and labels. BOPP film possesses dimensional stability, high tensile strength, good stiffness, high clarity, excellent printability and most importantly, heat sealability.
Metalized Films :
JPFL has two wide width metallizers with Plasma treatment facilities for enhanced shelf life and barrier properties. Two more metallizers are being installed in July and August 2005.
Poly Yarn:
JPFL is engaged in manufacturing a wide range of Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn with an installed capacity of 42,000 MT per annum.
Poly Chips:
JINDAL GROUP stands for the highest Polyester Films, Polyester chips and resins production facilities, with plants located at both Gulaothi and Nasik to cater to captive consumption.
