Gillette India Ltd was manufacture of stainless steel razor blades. Gillette India Ltd (Formerly Indian Shaving Products Ltd) is a 75% subsidiary of the Gillette Co, USA the global leader in shaving systems. Gillette consolidated its Indian operations in the year 2000, by merging all existing businesses in India under a single fold. Accordingly, Wilkinson Sword India Ltd and Duracell India Ltd were merged with Indian Shaving Products Ltd, the listed entity and the company was renamed as Gillette India Ltd. Post merger, Gillette India has a wider portfolio comprising of core business of shaving products (sold under Gillette, 7' 0 Clock and Wilkinson brands), Battery and flashlights business (Duraceell and Geep), and oral care products (Oral B).
