Kochi Refineries Ltd took the road of quality and responsibility and it paid rich dividends of goodwill and progress. It was thirty-five years back that KRL, formerly known as kochin Refineries Limited, started as a refinery with a capacity of 2.5 million metric tons per annum. Now they refine more than 7.5 million metric tonnes every year. The Company turnover is Rs 15,451 crores (2004-2005) with a profit before tax of Rs 1193 crores. They have been paying rich dividends consistently. Kochi Refineries Company vision is to be a globally competitive integrated energy and petrochemical company focussed towards achieving excellence in national priority areas with a strong conscience towards protection of environment and progress of society.
