Ashirwad Steels & Industries Limited was originally incorporated on 19.02.1986 as Ashirwad Mercantiles Limited. Subsequently the name was changed to Ashirwad Steels & Industries Limited w.e.f 10.02.1993. The Company is engaged in bottling of Hydrocarbon Gas with its two factories located at Uluberia Industrial Growth Centre, Uluberia, Howrah and Raigarh, Madhya Pradesh. For the year 1993-94, the Company achieved a sales turnover of Rs.106.86 lacs and a net profit of Rs.9.73 lacs. Now, the Company will set up a 2 Gas Filling Plants at the above location and will take up distribution of LP Gas (Liquified Petroleum Gas). It also proposes to manufacture steel tubes of size 1/2" to 6" NB. Main Objects of the Company: 1) To carry on the business of trading, dealing, importing, exporting manufacturing, buying and selling of parts, components and accessories of Motor Vehicles, Tractors, Cycles, Two-Wheelers and textiles, in diesel and electrical generators, Nut-Bolts, hardware, Rems, Diesel Engines Oxygen & Industrial Gases, Electrical fitting & goods, Tea, Papers of all kinds, Katha, Khair, Food grains including edible oils, Electronic goods such as Television Sets, Radios, Two in One, Tape Recorder, Video-Cassette Recorders, Ferrous & Non-ferrous metals, Old Machineries. 2) To buy, purchase, underwrite or otherwise acquire multistoried flats commercial or residential, farm houses, buildings, godowns, Warehouses, Markets, Shops, Industrial Sheds, Land either rural or Urban and any other immovable property of any description, lease hold or free hold either on rent, lease or for any other consideration and to sale, re-sale, develop, construct or re-construct, let on hire and take assign, pledge, lease out or otherwise dispose off the same on instalment basis or under hire purchase agreement or in any other manner. a) Residual Liquefied Hydrocarbon Gas (R.C.H.G)
b) Sponge Iron.
