Amit International Ltd. (AIL), was incorporated as a Public Limited company on the 18th February, 1994 in the state of Maharashtra with its Registered Office at 403 A. Dalamal Chambers, 29, New Marine lines, Bombay, for the manufacture of cotton sports socks. The Company bad obtained certificate of commencement of business on February 23, 1994. The Company after its incorporation took over the partnership firms of Amit Exports (India) & Minal Exports on September 30, 1994. Amit Exports (India) and Minal Exports, existing profit-making partnership firms engaged in the manufacture of Cotton Sports Socks were established in the year 1988. On September 30, 1994 the partnerships were dissolved and Amit International Ltd. became the proprietor of the two concerns. AIL continued the existing profitable business of manufacture and export of cotton sports socks in the same names but as proprietary concern. The assets of the partnership concerns HAVE NOT BEEN REVALUED and were taken over by the company at book value and no goodwill has been charged to AIL for the take over. The other existing partners retired from the partnership firms and were allotted shares in Amit International Ltd. in lieu of their capital accounts as on September 30, 1994. 2005-Amit International ties up with Yiwu Zhonghai Department of China for exports of Hosiery.
